Drenched Old Rock
05:19
|

I can't seem to form pictures clearly
My retinal fuzz makes the world look dreary
Clearly I'm drunk or maybe I'm merely in a haze of a day and the air makes me weary
Adjusting my senses to the world thats alive, I cant find a footing and the waters still rise
Like bile in my throat from the thing I despise but I'll take another swig and pray for reprise
Damn - hah - I don't know the time, they day of the week is a question confined to a vault in a bank
Which locks up my mind. A key in a coffin which are buried lead lined.
I hide from a mirror and I hide from the rent, the postman daily with the letters which sent to
A ghost of a house seeking courtroom intent, from unknown debtors and the credit cards spent.
How much was it that I get sent a week, enough to search for a job but too pissed to speak
A bottle of cider and 20 'L & B' make the morning pass easy while I wait for the...
Ahhh, fuck, I'm struggling here, my thought train crashed and the voices went weird
I was speaking of waiting but I don't know what for.
For my life to change itself; my disease to find a cure.
You can't cure something that runs so deep, but the problem can be sorted if I chose to retreat
Away from the place that takes up my time then I'll kill all the voices that hide in my mind.
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain
So hit me with music, hit me with music
Hit me with music, brutalise me with music
Well the trenchtown rock is outta the picture
A drenched old rock is what we all live in
Trenchtown rock you gotta let go
A drenched old rock is what we all know.

World School Bully
04:51
|
|||
Im introspectively seeking solace while struggling to find the answer
clamouring my thoughts and actions end up with leaking with disaster. Im told I draw the trouble to me , that its in my blood
well cut me and I bleed out memories
stories washed up in the mud
I can see the way they stand are they looking at me funny
disrupting my environment and taking all my money
a tide washes on the shore its probably more bringing war
chrous chimes break the door, fester carcasses litter halls
you think that you can pick on me,
you think that you are strong
your days of glory, bully boy
the world has all moved on
with sagging waist and droopy cheeks
its plain for all to see
im not scared of your offence
grow up world school bully
so im fed up of the rhetoric
the bully keep on selling me
a nation full of hating that they're calling a democracy
democratic fixes keep the power in a family,
they're peddling embezzling a twisted game monopoly
front line nurses getting axed like a broken tree,
brutally dismembering the services that will work for me,
whilst selling us the lies that it
it works better privately
strangling the workers while the targets set impossibly
way to High to reach so they sell off the a&e,
while prisons run for profit and the fire service gets left to bleed
while houses left burning but not in their communities
gated and protected by their constant firm security.
its all just a joke if it wasn't so serious see.
while veterans are homeless, we spend 30bill on submarines
houses left empty yet there's homeless filling up the streets.
we make room for bombs but there aint no room for refugees.
so we all just bleat like sheep.
you think that you can pick on me,
you think that you are strong
your days of glory, bully boy
the world has all moved on
with sagging waist and droopy cheeks
its plain for all to see
im not scared of your offence
grow up world school bully
Britain is a bully that got old so long ago
like a racist work mate that you all want to try oppose.
making comments on the peoples sex or their choice in clothes
whilst stood there with a shrivelled dick and a wife he beats at home.
many think its wrong but most seem to be scared to speak.
the little man or little island threatens that he'll break your teeth
if you try and stand up to his hateful racist bigotry
but dont get fooled by the mind of a bully
just like that little man the country is still clinging on,
to a day when they were top,
to the day when they were strong
little do they realise that the empire has gone
still walking with that swagger when the world has grown up, if we show them by refusing to budge.
then we can take it by the reigns and teach them how to be,
loving all the other cultures, exist in harmony

Busting at the Seams
05:16
|
|||
yo yo fuck a nine to five man im busting at the seams
while the tax man makes a call ill be living all my dreams
i smashed the meat wagon then i picked the bone clean
while my footseps left a sound i was gone before was seen
if this is the way then world is so fucked
where the little mans screwed for the profit of a buck
we get told to work longer, yet the taxes get pushed up
bailouts, like were sinking but the ship is bottoms up.
profits getting stronger corporations take their plunder
the media hate monger blaming people that are under
a class system praised by the ones who make the rules
but the truths that their hiding should be teaching in the schools
the papers spread their lies, bought by people demonized
you hear the headlines, where its sold like nursery rhymes.
we got
blah blah black man have you any dole
ive not read the muslims message but i hate their tainted souls.
or the one about the immigrant who stole from bo peep
while asians robbed mother hubbard as she was weeping in her sleep
we forget that the people we blame are ourselves
introspective, yet deceptive we can seek our own help
we rise, standing tall, together as one, never shall fall (x2)
blind in our minds, truth and lies intertwined
together as one never will fall. together as one we stand stall
it may not be ideal but its ok if its you
but not the guy on the dole who bought his tv brand new
words get thrown about like a flat screen tv
but if your watching the box then its all lcd
like where can you buy a screen that isnt made flat
even buying in the paper then they all come like that
we dont think we never question but we always answer back
while their claiming second mortgages did you ever think of that?
or a lord with his manor while he rents out council flats
as the people growing thinner but the profits getting fat
ceo of tescos living glamourised lives
whilst the workers stacking shelves get a minimum rise
wages based around a cost of living doesnt match
working to survive but getting left without a scratch
Bankers claiming bonuses, see the evil in their eyes
while police are beating people like theyre children swatting flies
we rise, standing tall, together as one, never shall fall (x2)
blind in our minds, truth and lies intertwined
together as one never will fall. together as one we stand stall
theres a line that we crossed way before it was drew
feeding all our hatred till the melting pot blew
outdated policies, lies told through and through
out with the old and burn down the blue
unjust laws make the world go around
while there backed by lords and ladies who were born with their crown
how can you tell me its the best choice for us
when youve never slept rough let alone caught the bus
we talk of cast systems how we're better than that
but by default a monarchy is a negative attack
it helps to segregate and put some higher than the rest
but being born a leader before you even flown the nest
it really isnt fair if your bloodline makes you top
of the chain before its forged, giving titles has to stop.
but it wont ever happen as the lords call the shots
rigged elections, fear infections keep us locked up till we rot
rotting in a box thats sold onto make
profit prison systems where we help to profile race
keeping the masses locked up in chains, cheap human labour
everywheres the same.
we rise, standing tall, together as one, never shall fall (x2)
blind in our minds, truth and lies intertwined
together as one never will fall. together as one we stand stall
